This video from themembers.co on TikTok which has playlist titled white or black women? and this is the only video in the playlist. The video features an interviewer asking black men about the differences between dating a Black girl and a white girl. One man responds saying that white women don’t cause problems, while another claims that white women listen, whereas Black women argue, nag, and even try to fight. Their comments reinforce harmful stereotypes that portray Black women as combative and difficult while framing white women as more submissive and accommodating.

The language used in the video is a clear example of misogynoir, particularly in the way the man refers to white women as “girls” while calling Black women “Black bitches.” This distinction is not just about word choice it also reflects a deeply ingrained pattern of dehumanization. By calling white women “girls,” he implies a sense of softness, innocence, and desirability. In contrast, referring to Black women with a derogatory term strips them of femininity, respect, and humanity, reinforcing the stereotype that they are aggressive and unworthy of the same gentleness or reverence.

This language is a direct reflection of how misogynoir functions. It is not just about seeing Black women as lesser, but about actively devaluing and degrading them in comparison to white women. This reinforces both white supremacy and patriarchy, positioning white women as the ideal while casting Black women as undesirable or combative. These types of narratives have real-world consequences, shaping how Black women are perceived, treated, and even how they experience romantic relationships within and outside their communities.
